JOB VACANCIES AT NIGERIA LNG LIMITED (NLNG)

Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), a leading energy company involved in the production and supply of liquefied natural gas, is inviting qualified candidates to apply for three plant operations positions at its Bonny Island facility.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

1. Shift Operator
   Reference: PO/2026/001
   Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State
2. Operations Supervisor
   Reference: PO/2026/002
   Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State
3. Shift Principal Operator
   Reference: PO/2026/003
   Location: Bonny Island, Rivers State

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Shift Operator

• HND in Chemical, Instrumentation and Control, Petroleum/Gas, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Civil, Structural, Environmental, Marine, Metallurgical, Materials or Software Engineering.
• Minimum of Upper Credit.
• At least 4 years of experience in LNG operations.

2. Operations Supervisor

• HND in a relevant engineering discipline listed in the official vacancy announcement.
• Minimum of Upper Credit.
• At least 10 years of experience in LNG operations, including 3 years in plant operations.

3. Shift Principal Operator

• HND in a relevant engineering discipline listed in the official vacancy announcement.
• Minimum of Upper Credit.
• At least 8 years of experience in LNG operations.
• Evidence of acquiring 9 Assessment and Progression (A&P) Skill Blocks.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Applicants should demonstrate relevant competencies in plant operations, process monitoring, health, safety and environmental (HSE) compliance, emergency response, problem-solving, teamwork, operational reliability and continuous improvement.

Operations Supervisor candidates should also demonstrate leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring and plant optimization skills.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTS

• HND certificate
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
• Birth certificate or declaration of age
• Evidence of change of name, where applicable
• Current CV
• Evidence of the required A&P Skill Blocks, where applicable

IMPORTANT WORK REQUIREMENTS

These are hands-on, safety-critical plant positions. Successful candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, use prescribed personal protective equipment, participate in emergency response activities and meet applicable fitness-to-work and safety requirements.
