CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: SAFE VOICES FOR CIVIC ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT
Are you a young civic actor in Zamfara State passionate about advocacy, accountability, digital rights, or civic participation?
Smart Aid Initiative invites applications from young people in Zamfara State for a Two-Day Civic Space Resilience and Advocacy Training under the Safe Voices for Civic Accountability Project.
The training aims to strengthen young civic actors’ capacity to safely exercise and defend their rights to freedom of expression and peaceful association ahead of the 2027 general elections.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Young people from Zamfara State who are involved in or passionate about civic engagement, including:
- Gen Z activists.
- Representatives of youth-led organisations.
- Young journalists and content creators.
- Community-Based Organisation (CBO) leaders.
- Digital rights advocates.
- Human rights and accountability advocates.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Selected participants will take part in a two-day training designed to strengthen their knowledge and capacity in civic space resilience, advocacy, freedom of expression, peaceful association, and civic participation.
