AWARFA-N STATE COORDINATOR RECRUITMENT

The African Women in Animal Resources Farming and Agribusiness Network, Nigerian Chapter AWARFA-N, is inviting interested and qualified individuals to submit an Expression of Interest EOI for the position of State Coordinator.

AWARFA-N is seeking State Coordinators who can support the network’s activities and strengthen engagement with women working across animal resources, farming, agriculture, and agribusiness within their respective states.

ROLE OF THE STATE COORDINATOR

The State Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for AWARFA-N activities within the selected state and support the network’s efforts to connect, mobilize, and engage women and other relevant stakeholders across the animal resources, farming, agriculture, and agribusiness sectors.

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate strong communication, coordination, networking, and community engagement abilities.

KEY AREAS OF ENGAGEMENT

  1. Support AWARFA-N activities and initiatives within the assigned state.
  2. Mobilize and engage women involved in animal resources, farming, agriculture, and agribusiness.
  3. Promote networking and collaboration among members and relevant stakeholders.
  4. Support communication between the state and the national AWARFA-N network.
  5. Participate in relevant meetings, programmes, activities, and stakeholder engagements.
  6. Identify opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, capacity building, and agricultural development.
  7. Contribute to the visibility and growth of AWARFA-N activities within the state.
  8. Provide relevant updates and information on activities and developments in the assigned state.

WHO SHOULD APPLY

Interested individuals with an interest or experience in agriculture, animal resources, farming, agribusiness, women’s empowerment, community development, networking, advocacy, or related areas are encouraged to submit their Expression of Interest.

Applicants should be committed to supporting women and promoting opportunities within Nigeria’s agricultural and agribusiness ecosystem.
