PAX PROJECT 2.0
Victus Impact Network VINET, with support from the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund NYFF, is inviting applications from qualified and motivated individuals to serve as Data Enumerators for the PAX Project 2.0 Community Electoral Peace and Vulnerability Assessment.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
The PAX Project 2.0 Community Electoral Peace and Vulnerability Assessment will be conducted across selected communities in Bauchi State.
The assessment will gather community-level information to better understand electoral conflict risks, peacebuilding needs, barriers to inclusive civic participation and factors that contribute to community resilience.
The findings will contribute to efforts aimed at understanding and addressing community-level vulnerabilities ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 General Elections.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Selected Data Enumerators will support ethical and confidential data collection within communities across Bauchi State.
Enumerators will interact with community members and collect relevant information in accordance with the assessment methodology and instructions provided by the project team.
The role requires individuals who can communicate effectively with diverse community members, follow data collection procedures and maintain professionalism throughout the assignment.
KEY AREAS OF THE ASSESSMENT
The assessment will focus on understanding:
- ELECTORAL CONFLICT RISKS
Identifying community-level factors, concerns and vulnerabilities that may contribute to electoral tensions or conflict.
- PEACEBUILDING NEEDS
Understanding existing peacebuilding priorities, community concerns and areas where additional support may be required.
- INCLUSIVE CIVIC PARTICIPATION
Identifying barriers that may prevent some individuals or groups from participating meaningfully in civic and electoral processes.
- COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
Documenting factors, practices and community resources that can help communities prevent, manage or recover from conflict and other vulnerabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Selected enumerators are expected to:
- Conduct community-level data collection in assigned locations.
- Engage respectfully with respondents and community members.
- Follow approved data collection tools, procedures and instructions.
- Accurately record information provided by respondents.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect respondents’ information.
- Conduct interviews and other assigned data collection activities professionally.
- Ensure collected information is complete and accurate.
- Submit collected data within the required timelines.
- Follow all ethical requirements established for the assessment.
- Immediately report challenges, concerns or issues encountered during field activities to the appropriate project team.
- Respect community norms, cultural sensitivities and local contexts while carrying out assigned activities.

ETHICAL DATA COLLECTION
Because the assessment involves sensitive community and electoral issues, selected enumerators are expected to maintain high standards of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Enumerators should treat respondents with respect and avoid actions that could expose respondents or communities to unnecessary risks.
Information collected during the assessment should be handled responsibly and only for the purposes authorized by the project.

Applicants should be prepared to carry out field activities within assigned communities in Bauchi State.
PROJECT SUPPORT
Victus Impact Network VINET is implementing the assessment with support from the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund NYFF under the PAX Project 2.0.
The assessment is intended to generate community-level evidence around electoral peace, vulnerability, civic participation and resilience ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 General Elections.
