The Nigerian Navy has announced the 2026 Nigerian Navy Basic Training School NNBTS Batch 39 recruitment exercise for qualified Nigerians seeking enlistment into the Nigerian Navy.

WHO CAN APPLY
Applicants must:
- Be Nigerian citizens by birth.
- Possess a National Identification Number NIN.
- Meet the applicable age requirement for their selected category.
- Meet the minimum height requirement.
- Be medically, physically and psychologically fit.
- Have no previous criminal conviction.
- Possess the required educational, professional or trade qualification for the selected category.
- Be able to communicate in basic English.
- Meet any additional requirements applicable to their selected category.
O LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants applying through the O Level route must be 18 to 22 years old as of 31 December 2026.
Applicants must possess at least five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Accepted qualifications include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and GCE.
HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
MALE: Minimum 1.69 metres
FEMALE: Minimum 1.65 metres
