Innovate Health Hub is looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Programme Assistant to support the delivery of programmes designed for young African health innovators.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Programme Assistant will provide administrative and coordination support to ensure that virtual programmes, meetings and activities run smoothly and efficiently.

The successful candidate will work closely with programme participants, speakers and other stakeholders, helping to coordinate activities and maintain effective communication throughout programme delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support the planning and coordination of virtual programme activities and meetings.
  2. Communicate with programme participants and provide timely updates and information.
  3. Coordinate with speakers, facilitators and other programme stakeholders.
  4. Follow up with participants and speakers to ensure attendance and completion of assigned activities.
  5. Assist with scheduling online meetings, sessions and programme activities.
  6. Support the smooth running of virtual events and programme sessions.
  7. Maintain organised programme records, participant information and relevant documents.
  8. Assist with routine administrative and programme-related tasks.
  9. Support the Programme Team with follow-ups, reminders and coordination before and after programme activities.
  10. Help ensure participants have a positive and well-organised programme experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should be organised, dependable, responsive and comfortable working in a virtual environment.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are important, as the role involves regular interaction with young innovators, speakers and programme stakeholders.

Applicants should be comfortable using online meeting and communication platforms and should be able to manage multiple tasks, follow up consistently and work effectively with minimal supervision.
