Women Techsters Fellowship 2025: Empowering Women in Tech
Applications are now open for the Women Techsters Fellowship 2025, a free one-year experiential learning program designed to empower young women across Africa with in-demand technology skills. This highly competitive program, admitting the top 3% of applicants, aims to bridge the digital gender gap in the technology ecosystem and ensure equal access to opportunities for women and girls.
The fellowship is structured into two phases: the first six months focus on intensive technical and soft skills training, while the latter six months provide practical work experience through internships, volunteering, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and mentoring. Participants gain real-world experience and apply their newly acquired skills.
This year’s program focuses on career paths including DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Engineering, Mobile Application Development, Product Design, Product Management, and Software Development (Front End and Backend Development).
