The British Government is seeking a UK PACT Officer to join their team in Abuja, Nigeria. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of the UK-Nigeria climate collaboration and contribute to the development of a vision for growing the UK-Nigeria climate relationship.
As a UK PACT Officer, you will provide technical advice across three sectors: nature, climate policy and governance, and energy. You will also coordinate expert advice from the wider British High Commission team and proactively identify opportunities to grow the portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a university degree in Environmental Science, Climate, Public Policy, or a related course, with at least three years of work experience in project/programme management, preferably with international stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills, strong reporting writing skills, and the ability to deliver high-profile outcomes at pace are also essential.
