About the Fellowship:
The Waging Justice for Women Fellowship offers a paid work placement focused on critical gender justice issues at a leading human rights organization in Africa. Fellows will gain valuable practical experience, develop their legal expertise, and contribute to impactful initiatives that promote gender equality and protect women’s rights.
Eligibility:
This fellowship is open to African women lawyers who:
• Hold a practicing certificate.
• Possess the necessary work authorization for the country of their chosen host organization.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to gender equality and women’s rights.
• Possess fluency in English. Proficiency in other working languages relevant to the countries of host organizations is highly desirable.
