Mobility Expert Consultant application (Nigeria, Niger, Chad)

We are seeking a Mobility Expert Consultant to support a cross-border health initiative covering Nigeria, Chad, and Niger. This project aims to strengthen immunization efforts, improve surveillance systems, and ensure comprehensive health coverage for high-risk and underserved populations, particularly mobile and displaced communities.
Key Details
Location: Nigeria, Chad, or Niger (Preference will be given to candidates residing in border regions for ease of travel)
Travel: Up to 75% within border LGAs, districts, and settlements in Nigeria, Niger and Chad
Contract End Date: December 31, 2025
Reports to: Program Manager
Responsibilities
Conduct mobility assessments to track population movement patterns and support data-driven vaccination strategies
Coordinate cross-border health interventions and collaborate with government agencies, humanitarian organizations, and other stakeholders
Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring effective health interventions for mobile populations
Support field operations, including vaccination campaigns and rapid response mechanisms
Train and guide teams on mobility health planning, data collection, and implementation best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Migration Studies, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Experience in population mobility tracking, migration health programs, or cross-border health interventions
Strong experience working with government authorities, NGOs, and international institutions
Fluency in English and French
Ability to work in high-risk or security-compromised locations
Preference will be given to candidates residing in border regions of Nigeria, Chad, or Niger for ease of travel and mobility
