Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA) & GEEP: 2025 Youth Innovation Challenge
Calling all young innovators! The Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA) and the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) invite young people (ages 15–30) to participate in the 2025 Youth Innovation Challenge.
Challenge: Propose an innovative solution that addresses a critical marine conservation issue.
Focus: How can we address marine issues and support people of all ages to become engaged stewards of marine environments? Solutions should be informed by research, feasible, innovative, and address one of this year’s key topics using environmental education.
Prizes:
• Global recognition
• $1,000 USD prize
• A 2-day trip to Kaohsiung, Taiwan to attend the YIC award ceremony September 29–30, 2025

About the Youth Innovation Challenge:
The Youth Innovation Challenge is a program of the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) in partnership with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA). GEEP is a partnership between the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Taiwan Ministry of Environment, and the North American Association for Environmental Education.
