SwedBio at the Stockholm Resilience Centre is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join their team as a Resource Mobilization and Climate Change Officer.

Background and duties
You have a strong track-record in resource mobilization from the International Development or Civil Society Sector and are expected to contribute with contacts and network relevant to the scope of SwedBio.
You have comprehensive understanding of the steps needed for successful donor engagement and have previously built strong collaborations from scratch. You will be expected to participate in main partner events, donor meetings, and will be responsible for continuously monitoring and analyzing the results of fundraising and resource mobilization activities. Developing internal processes; from acquisition to final analysis and learnings for improvement. Duties include international horizon scanning, donor screening and understanding donor requirements including results reporting and communication.
You have good knowledge and experience in working with climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction/management, ecosystem-based approaches and resilience, in the context of developing country and/or least developed countries. You have good understanding of the intersection of climate change, sustainable use and governance of biodiversity, and human rights.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement resource mobilization strategies, including donor engagement and partnerships.
Monitor, analyze, and report on fundraising activities and their impact.
Engage in horizon scanning, donor screening, and donor relationship management.
Participate in international events, donor meetings, and partner engagements.
Contribute to the development of internal processes to improve resource mobilization outcomes.
Focus on climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and resilience within developing or least-developed countries.
Employment Terms:
Full-time, indefinite-term position with a six-month trial period.

Occasional international travel required for partner engagements and assignments.
