Job Title: Solar Sales Manager- Commercial & Industrial (C&I)
Locations: Kano & Abuja
Industry: Renewable Energy/ Solar EPC

Are you a dynamic sales leader with deep experience in B2B energy solutions? Do you have what it takes to drive solar adoption across Nigeria’s commercial and industrial sectors? Join a forward-thinking solar energy company as our Solar Sales Manager (C&I) and lead strategic sales growth in Kano and Abuja.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation:
• Identify and target new C&I clients through market research, referrals, and networking.
• Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of high-potential prospects.

Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key commercial and industrial clients.
• Serve as the lead contact for client communications, solution presentations, and deal negotiations.

Sales Strategy & Execution:
• Design and execute regional sales plans aligned with business objectives.
• Meet or exceed sales targets for solar EPC, PPA, and asset-based solutions.

Proposal & Tender Management:
• Lead the preparation of techno-commercial offers and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to develop client-specific proposals.

Project Coordination Support:
• Support a seamless handover from sales to project execution teams.
• Monitor client expectations throughout project delivery and after-sales support.

Market Intelligence:
• Track C&I market trends, competitor movements, pricing benchmarks, and policy developments.
• Provide valuable insights to refine products and marketing strategies.

Requirements:
Bsc degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy),/ Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
• 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or the power sector.
• At least 2–3 years in a leadership or key account management role in EPC/PPA/energy services.
Strong track record in:
• Selling solar PV or energy efficiency solutions to commercial clients.
• Closing high-value CAPEX or OPEX-based contracts.
• Managing end-to-end sales cycles including stakeholder buy-in and contract negotiation.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver technical and financial client solutions.
