Position Details

Job Title: Social Media and Community Manager

Location: Remote

Role Summary: The Social Media and Community Manager will be a key player in shaping our brand’s online presence. 

This role is responsible for driving community engagement, managing all social media platforms, and supporting business growth through strategic content and audience interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Community Management: Monitor and respond to all comments, DMs, and mentions across our social platforms, including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Cultivate and manage vibrant communities on Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp by fostering conversations and building relationships with our audience.

Maintain a positive and consistent brand voice across all digital interactions.

Act as the first point of contact for the community, providing timely and helpful support.Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and manage a comprehensive social media content calendar that aligns with our brand’s marketing and business goals.

Create engaging content formats, including discussion prompts, polls, challenges, and live session ideas, to drive community growth and attract new followers.

Propose new content ideas that can improve engagement and lead generation.

Lead Generation & Sales Support: 

Identify and track potential leads from social media conversations and community activity.

Nurture and qualify warm leads, passing valuable insights and contacts to the sales team to improve outreach and conversion.

Provide regular feedback from the community to help refine our offers and marketing campaigns.

Collaboration & Reporting: 

Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure our social media messaging is unified and consistent.

Participate in regular check-ins to share insights from the community and analyze content performance.

Provide a weekly report highlighting: engagement trends, community growth, key feedback, and leads identified.

 Maintain a simple weekly report tracking: Engagement highlights, Leads generated

(direct/indirect), Community feedback or trends, Content performance

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: ₦150,000 per month, paid monthly.

Performance-Based Incentives: Commission based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as community growth, engagement rates, and the quality of leads generated.
