Première Urgence Internationale (PUI) is recruiting for the position of Health Project Manager to support its life-saving humanitarian programs in Northeast Nigeria. PUI has been at the forefront of emergency response in Borno and Katsina States, delivering essential services in healthcare, nutrition, gender-based violence, and psychosocial support.
The Health Project Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing Primary Health Care services, nutrition activities, and community outreach programs in collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Health and other key partners. This includes the management of health facilities, ensuring quality service delivery, supervising health and nutrition teams, maintaining referral systems, monitoring project indicators, and supporting capacity-building efforts.
Applicants should have a strong background in public health, humanitarian program management, or medical sciences, with experience in project planning, implementation, MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning), and inter-agency coordination. Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage multi-sectoral teams, and proficiency in reporting and data analysis are essential for this role.
