Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturer Distribution Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of our manufacturer distribution center. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, maintaining optimal stock levels, controlling costs, and ensuring timely order processing. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner Profitability:
– Drive ROI (Return on Investment) and ensure profitability of the distribution center.
– Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize distribution strategies.
– Develop and implement plans to increase revenue and reduce costs.
2. Inventory Management:
– Maintain adequate stock coverage to meet customer demand.
– Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory turnover.
– Implement effective inventory management systems and processes.
3. Order Fulfillment:
– Ensure quick and accurate order processing and delivery.
– Implement efficient order fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations.
– Monitor order fulfillment metrics and implement improvements.
4. Cost Control:
– Keep operational expenses within target limits.
– Identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
– Monitor and control distribution costs, including transportation, storage, and labor costs.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
– 7-13 years of experience in distribution center management or a similar role in the FMCG industry.
– Strong knowledge of distribution operations, inventory management, and logistics.
– Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
