Malaria Consortium, a leading non-profit organization specializing in disease prevention and control, is seeking Workshop Assistants to support training programs for health personnel and community volunteers in Abuja, FCT.

Position: Workshop Assistant (20 Positions)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Application Deadline: May 30th, 2025

Job Purpose:

Workshop Assistants will provide support for the training of Health facility workers, Community drug distributors, and Town Announcers across the six Area Councils in FCT.

Scope of Assignment:

  Distribute workshop materials and training materials to participants.

  Coordinate refreshments (tea break and lunch).

  Take photographs of training sessions.

  Coordinate attendance taking.

  Set up and operate IT equipment for smooth running of meetings.

  Perform other assigned duties for the smooth running of the workshop/trainings.

Deliverables:

  Completed and validated participant/facilitator attendance list (hard and soft copies).

  Collated and validated bank details of facilitators/participants (hard and soft copy).

  Typed list of participants with bank account details in Excel format.

  E-copy of training pictures with consent obtained.

  Typed notes of meetings.

  Summary of tasks and responsibilities handled during the training.

Person Specifications:

  Essential Qualifications: A minimum of HND/B.Sc. in any discipline. Experience in providing administrative support for workshops and trainings. Ability to take notes of meetings.

  Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical skills. Strong command of Microsoft Office suites. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member and to handle multiple priorities.
