We provide the infrastructure that allows any business — fintech or not — to easily offer bill payment services such as airtime, data, electricity, and TV subscriptions.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Sales & Customer Success Associate who will help us grow and retain our customer base.
You’ll play a key role in converting new leads into active users, re-engaging dormant customers, and ensuring every business on our platform understands and benefits from Topupmate’s services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to new leads through calls, WhatsApp, and email to introduce Topupmate.
  • Follow up with users who registered but haven’t activated or started using their accounts.
  • Understand customer challenges (setup, verification, or compliance) and help them resolve issues.
  • Share product decks or presentations with potential clients and organize demo/intro meetings.
  • Join and engage in relevant online communities or business groups to drive new signups.
  • Work closely with the marketing and support team to improve customer onboarding and retention.
  • Track all interactions, maintain records, and submit weekly performance reports.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Strong interest in fintech, startups, or digital business.
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, calls, email, and online tools for outreach.
  • Organized, disciplined, and results-driven.
  • Based in Abuja and available for hybrid work (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Bonus Advantage:

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or business development,  especially in tech or fintech companies. Ability to speak Hausa is also an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000/month (based on experience)
  • Transport Allowance: Would be considered base on location 
  • Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)

We measure success by:

  • Number of inactive users reactivated.
  • Number of new conversions from leads.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Quality and consistency of weekly reports.
