Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Programs Associate to join our Global Politics Affairs team. The Programs Associate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of programs, initiatives, and events that advance our mission in global politics.
Key Responsibilities:
– Write and publish high-quality articles on global politics issues for various platforms, including our website, social media, and external publications.
– Coordinate and manage fellowship programs, including application processes, selection, and ongoing support for fellows.
– Moderate events, conferences, and workshops on global politics topics, ensuring engaging and productive discussions.
– Assist in the planning and execution of strategic initiatives and projects in global politics affairs.
– Collaborate with team members to develop and implement programmatic strategies and objectives.
– Conduct research and analysis to support program development and policy initiatives.
– Manage program-related logistics, including budgeting, scheduling, and communications.
– Foster relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and networks to advance program goals.
Required Skills:
– Writing and Communication: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling articles and reports on global politics issues.
– Program Management: Strong program management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution.
– Event Management: Experience in moderating events and conferences, with the ability to facilitate engaging discussions.
– Research and Analysis: Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information on global politics issues.
– Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
– Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
– Global Politics Knowledge: Strong understanding of global politics issues and trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience in program management, event planning, or a related role.
– Experience working with global politics stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and international organizations.
