JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT – MINING SECTOR | BAUCHI STATE
Finpact Consulting, a premier management consulting firm, has been engaged by a reputable mining company to support the recruitment of qualified professionals for its mining operations in Bauchi State. We invite applications from competent, experienced, and motivated individuals to fill the following critical positions.
AVAILABLE POSITIONS
1. Site Manager: Lead site-wide operations, coordinate teams, ensure compliance and drive production targets.
2. Mine Supervisor: Oversee daily mining activities, enforce safety, and support operational efficiency.
3. Geologist: Conduct field mapping, sampling and analysis to support exploration and ore body modelling.
4. Mining Engineer: Design mine plans, optimize extraction methods, and supervise mining infrastructure.
5. Surveyor: Carry out site surveys, topographic mapping and ensure accurate geospatial data collection.
6. Environment, Health & Safety Officer: Develop and enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Community Liaison Officer: Foster positive relations with host communities, manage grievances and coordinate CSR activities.
8. Equipment Operators: Manage Excavator, Bulldozer, Loader, Haul Truck.
9. Processing Plant Operator: Manage plant operations including crushing, washing, screening and gold recovery.
10. Mechanic / Technician: Maintain and repair heavy-duty equipment and ensure minimal downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Relevant academic qualifications (Diploma, HND, BSc or equivalent) for each role.
• Minimum 3–10 years of proven experience in similar roles within the mining or extractives sector.
• Certifications in safety, mine operations, or specific equipment handling will be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in remote, rugged environments with multicultural teams.

All positions are based at the mining site in Bauchi State.
