Job Vacancies at Centre for Community Excellence (CENCEX) Zamfara State
The Centre for Community Excellence (CENCEX) Zamfara State is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving health and WASH outcomes through innovative solutions. We are seeking qualified and motivated candidates to fill the following positions:
*1. Protection Monitors (7 positions)*
– Location: Talata Mafara LGA, Zamfara
– Contract Type: Short-term contract (7 months with possibility of extension)
– Deadline: May 15, 2025
*Key Responsibilities*
– Conduct regular field visits to monitor and report protection concerns
– Identify vulnerable individuals for appropriate services
– Engage with community leaders
– Document protection incidents and maintain confidential case files
– Perform other duties as requested by the line manager
*Requirements*
– Diploma in Social Sciences, Psychology, CHEW, or related field
– Native or resident of Talata Mafara LGA
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in remote areas
– Fluency in Hausa language
– Previous experience is an added advantage
*2. Hygiene Promoters (7 positions)*
– Location: Talata Mafara LGA, Zamfara
– Contract Type: Short-term contract (7 months with possibility of extension)
– Deadline: May 15, 2025
*Key Responsibilities*
– Conduct hygiene awareness sessions in communities and IDP settlements
– Promote safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices
– Collaborate with WASH and health teams to reduce disease risks
– Support monitoring hygiene behavior and adapting messages
– Engage with community leaders
– Perform other duties as requested by the line manager
*Requirements*
– National Diploma (ND) or relevant certificate in Health or related field
– Native or resident of Talata Mafara LGA
– Good communication and facilitation skills
– Experience in community mobilization or hygiene promotion is desirable
– Ability to work in remote areas
– Fluency in Hausa language
– Previous experience is an added advantage
