Position Overview:
Malaria Consortium is seeking a Workshop Assistant to support the effective delivery of upcoming training sessions for Health Facility Workers (HFWs) and community-level personnel in Bauchi. The selected candidate will assist with administrative and IT-related responsibilities to ensure the smooth coordination of all training activities.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate with the hotel to manage meal arrangements and logistics
•Distribute training materials and supplies to participants
•Set up and operate necessary IT equipment throughout the workshop
•Take photographs during training sessions for documentation purposes
•Maintain participant attendance records and contact information
•Enter participant details and bank information into an Excel database
•Prepare a short report outlining activities and workshop support provided
•Perform additional administrative tasks as required to support workshop operations
Deliverables:
•Signed attendance sheets from all participants
•Excel sheet containing participant names and bank account details
•Digital file of training photographs
•Concise post-workshop report on administrative and logistical support provided
Requirements:
•Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in any discipline
•Proven computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
•Prior experience supporting trainings or workshops is highly desirable
•Ability to take meeting notes and manage multiple tasks effectively
•Previous experience working with Malaria Consortium or on SMC-related projects is an added advantage
