ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, results-driven Junior Hub Manager to be a critical second-tier leader in our front-line team. This role is pivotal in directly managing the successful launch of new Hubs/Shops and supporting their growth towards profitability. You will champion new ideas to ensure successful Hub launches and enforce brilliant basics on Hub Operational Standards.
A Junior Hub Manager must demonstrate strong leadership capabilities by supporting our “Jaza stars” (front-line team members) on best practices that drive Hub growth. This includes the ability to recruit, train, and coach Jaza stars within their respective cohorts. You will be ultimately responsible for increasing the number of active customers, achieving Hub profitability, and providing comprehensive coaching to your Jaza stars.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Hub Growth & Customer Acquisition:
• Drive customer acquisition initiatives to achieve an average of 130 active customers (L7).
• Conduct door-to-door sales alongside Jaza stars in your cohort to expand the active customer base.
• Customer Retention & Revenue Management:
• Proactively manage customer retention by following up with churned customers.
• Support revenue growth at the Hub level through membership renewal implementation.
• Transition customers from pay-per-swap to membership models to achieve an average of ₦1M monthly recurring revenue and >$2.8 ARPU.
• Hub Profitability & Compliance:
• Take ownership of Hub profitability and guide Jaza stars on best practices for revenue emittance balancing.
• Ensure 100% compliance with lost and missing packs metrics.
• Jaza Stars Coaching & Development:
• Coach Jaza stars on effective sales practices: sharpening sales pitches, overcoming customer objections, closing sales, and efficient customer registration/signup.
• Provide coaching on exceptional customer service: proper customer and product education, appropriate language and tone, effective question answering, timely complaint resolution/reporting, and leading by example on Jaza behaviours and SOP compliance.
• Train Jaza stars on robust inventory management: adhering to pack scanning schedules, following up on missing customer packs, executing Pack In/Pack Out processes, pack rotation, reporting defective packs, and identifying tampered packs.
• Operational Reporting & Recruitment:
• Flag any dilemmas limiting Hub growth or reliable service to the regional coordinator.
• Oversee the entire Jaza stars recruitment process, from advertisement and interviews to comprehensive training.
• Strategic Participation:
• Actively participate in Hypercare meetings, providing clear action plans for Hub growth, sharing progress feedback, and highlighting challenges.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Sales, Administration, Marketing, or any other related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales, Customer Relations, Entrepreneurship, or other related fields.
• Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated experience in leading, managing, or training a team previously.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Analytical: Data-driven mindset, capable of making analytical decisions.
