Job Opportunity: Data Analyst at ADEA
The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) is seeking two experienced and motivated Data Analysts to support our Tackling Education & Skills Data Challenge Project. As a Data Analyst at ADEA, you will play a critical role in analyzing education and skills data to drive impactful recommendations and support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
– Analyze education and skills data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform policy and practice
– Support data production and usage in beneficiary countries, ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and accessible
– Strengthen education data governance and management systems, promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making
– Build capacity in data analysis and interpretation for key stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, and researchers
– Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement data-driven solutions to education and skills challenges

Requirements:
– A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
– Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Tableau
– Strong understanding of education and skills development issues in Africa
