IDRC Call for Proposals: Advancing Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health in Africa
The International Development Research Centre (IDRC) is pleased to announce a call for proposals to support implementation research on Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) in Africa. This initiative aims to strengthen local research capacity and generate evidence-based solutions to improve the health and well-being of adolescents.
Deadline: August 7, 2025 | 10:00 AM EDT
This call for proposals is part of the Adolescents Thrive: African Adolescents Bolstered through Local Evidence (AABLE) initiative. The AABLE initiative seeks to:
• Address critical knowledge gaps in Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health.
• Strengthen local implementation research capacity within African institutions.
• Generate gender-responsive and actionable evidence to inform national policies and programs.
Eligibility:
We invite applications from local organizations in the following 13 African countries: Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. We particularly encourage women-led organizations and multidisciplinary teams to apply.
