Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with CAC in accordance to the Nigerian law, FRAD has over the years been actively involved with frontline responses to emergencies caused by the recent crisis in Northeast Nigeria, we also respond to emerging development needs in Nigeria through holistic approach that proffer durable solutions using the triple nexus approach. FRAD response focus on addressing the needs of women, girls, adolescents, youths and Persons living with disabilities via our various response in Health/Nutrition, Protection, WASH/Environment and Peace building, our responses provide support and enhance the protective factors of the most vulnerable populations affected by varying crisis which include humanitarian, development and economic crisis. Over the years, FRAD has demonstrated capacity in implementing a cross-sectoral response that meets the needs of the most vulnerable people and we are broadening our scope through the implementation of our 2024-2027 strategic plan.
Job overview
The main objective of having an ICLA (Information, Counselling & Legal Assistance) Technical Assistant is to assist and provide support in the implementation of ICLA project activities, focusing on protecting the rights of displaced persons, conflict affected populations and returnees by providing legal aid programs.

Job Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to FRAD Foundation policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
Support in complaint and feedback mechanisms for beneficiaries.
Support case intake, consent, and registration using standardized tools.
Provide timely information, counselling, and referral services to beneficiaries.
Follow up on cases, ensuring timely updates and closure.
Participate in community sensitization and information sessions.
Engage and coordinate with community leaders and partners.
Assist in organizing and delivering tasks in line with priorities and standards.
Assist in monitoring and reporting on project activities, ensuring compliance with plans and FRAD Foundation standards.
Prepare and develop status reports, including documentation of project achievements and deliverables, as required by management.
Submit timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Document case studies, success stories, and lessons learned.
Assist in the development and adaptation of training and information dissemination materials.
Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
Contribute to organizational learning through specific technical analysis, lessons learned, and reports.
Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need and explore and assess new and better ways of assistance.
Ensure proper filing of relevant documents according to procedures.
Attend capacity building sessions and team meetings.
Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Academic Background: Degree or Diploma in Law, Political Science, International Relations, or Social Sciences.
Professional experience and skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in a humanitarian context.
Demonstrated knowledge of housing, land and property and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
