FG TVET Program: Important Application Instructions for Student Trainees
It has come to our attention that some applicants are incorrectly using the trainers’ portal to apply for the FG TVET program as student trainees. To ensure a successful application as a student trainee, please follow these guidelines:
1. Apply via the Correct Portal: Student trainees must apply through the official portal: https://tvet.education.gov.ng
2. Choose a Training Track: Carefully review the available training tracks and select the one that best aligns with your interests and career goals.
3. Create an Account: Click “Apply” and create an account using your National Identification Number (NIN) and date of birth. Be sure to complete the entire sign-up process.
4. Provide Bank Account Information: When providing your bank account number, if you are using a phone number as your account number, remove the leading zero (0) to ensure successful BVN verification.
5. Select Training Duration:
• If you are a beginner in your chosen course, select the 6-month training option.
• If you have some prior experience in the selected course, choose the 1-year training option.
Additional Information:
• Incorrect Phone Number: If the phone number displayed after NIN verification is no longer active, clear the field and enter a new phone number that is linked to your NIN to receive OTPs (One-Time Passwords).
• OTP Delivery: Ensure that your phone has sufficient storage space to receive OTP SMS messages.
