FACT Foundation is seeking a highly motivated Data Analysis Officer to join our PEARL Department. This role is ideal for a data professional passionate about leveraging statistical analysis to drive meaningful, evidence-based humanitarian and development programming.
Under the supervision of the Senior Data & Assessment Officer, the successful candidate will support research design, data cleaning, statistical analysis, and reporting. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in R and Microsoft Excel, and a commitment to data quality and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, manage, and validate research datasets to ensure consistency and accuracy
Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analyses using R and Excel
Develop data visualizations and contribute to research reporting and dissemination
Support internal teams with data-driven insights that inform program design and decision-making
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree is an asset)
0–2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within research or the non-profit sector
Proficiency in R and advanced Excel techniques
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
