We are a very social organization and 100% youth. Of the 100%, 80% are Gen Z. So, too much energy de worry us. Hence, we are careful in how we welcome new team members. The objective of our new team is to drive research-based actions. New team members must be interested in data, research, writing, analysis and storytelling. Our focus is on youth action to drive reforms around education, climate action, good governance at the local levels and elections.
Roles
1. Research/Strategy Lead Duties:
Design and implement research frameworks to support DEAN’s strategic goals.
Conduct in-depth qualitative and quantitative research to inform program development.
Analyze and interpret data to evaluate the impact of educational initiatives.
Develop strategic plans to improve the reach and effectiveness of DEAN’s projects.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment of research outcomes with organizational objectives.
Produce research reports, white papers, and policy briefs.
Skills:
Strong research and data analysis skills.
Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in research tools and software (e.g., SPSS, R, NVivo).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
2. Education Portfolio Officer Duties:
Manage and oversee DEAN’s educational initiatives and partnerships.
Develop and monitor education program goals, budgets, and timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including schools, NGOs, and government agencies.
Ensure programs align with DEAN’s mission and vision.
Facilitate workshops, training, and capacity-building activities for educators.
Regularly review and update educational materials and curriculum.

Budget management and financial tracking abilities.
Proficiency in curriculum development and facilitation.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
3. Admin Officer Duties:
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations at DEAN.
Maintain and organize office records, files, and databases.
Manage communication, including emails, calls, and correspondence.
Coordinate meetings, events, and logistics for staff and stakeholders.
Monitor and procure office supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
