JOB SUMMARY
The successful candidate will assess clients’ creditworthiness, process loan applications, evaluate financial risks, and support timely loan disbursement and repayment collection.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review loan applications and requests.
- Assess clients’ financial status and creditworthiness.
- Evaluate lending risks and make recommendations on loan approvals or rejections.
- Contact clients to obtain financial information and supporting documents.
- Prepare loan applications and establish repayment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan application records.
- Follow up with clients regarding loan renewals.
- Monitor existing loans and repayment progress.
- Conduct daily and weekly repayment collections.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- NCE, OND, HND, or bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or in a similar role.
- Practical knowledge of lending procedures and financial products.
- Ability to prepare and process financial spreadsheets.
- Strong analytical and risk-assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer service experience.
