Purpose of the Role
The CCCM Monitor – Volunteer will assist in daily site coordination, population tracking, and information management to ensure efficient camp operations and accountability to affected populations within the reception center.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily population movement monitoring (arrivals, departures, and transfers).
- Assist in the registration and profiling of new arrivals at the reception center.
- Collect and compile data on shelter occupancy, infrastructure, and service availability.
- Disseminate key messages on services, referral pathways, and complaint mechanisms.
- Facilitate community participation and engagement with CCCM structures.
- Report urgent needs, incidents, or protection issues observed at the site.
- Support coordination with partner agencies providing services within the center.
- Maintain accurate records and submit daily and weekly reports to the CCCM Officer.
Expected Outputs
- Accurate and timely daily site reports.
- Updated population movement and service mapping data.
- Properly documented community feedback and complaints.
- Active engagement of community representatives in site management activities.
Qualification and Experience
- Must be an indigene of Ngala Local Government Area.
- Minimum of Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE).
- Previous experience in humanitarian or community work (advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak Kanuri and Hausa fluently (English is an asset).
- Commitment to humanitarian principles and community service.
Duration and Conditions
- Duration: 6 months, renewable based on performance and funding.
- Status: Volunteer position with monthly stipend (for transport and communication).
- Duty Station: Ngala Reception Center, Borno State.
Code of Conduct
All volunteers must strictly adhere to PRIDE’s Code of Conduct, Safeguarding Policy, and Accountability Principles. Any misconduct will result in immediate termination of the volunteer engagement.
