As a Programme Delivery and Training Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) methodology, a proven approach to improving foundational learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support to teachers and mentors in delivering effective TaRL sessions, ensuring that they are well-equipped to improve student learning outcomes.
• Coordinate training programs, data collection activities, and community engagement initiatives at the Local Government Area (LGA) level, fostering collaboration and participation among stakeholders.
• Contribute to strengthening the capacity of government partners to sustain foundational learning interventions, promoting long-term impact and scalability.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and enhance classroom instruction, continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of the TaRL program.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A strong passion for education and a commitment to improving learning outcomes for children.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to coordinate activities, manage logistics, and work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze data and use it to inform decision-making.
• Familiarity with the local context and challenges in education in Kaduna State.
