Call for Nominations: Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Program Civil Society Regional Reference Group
The Spotlight Initiative Africa Regional Program (SIARP) 2.0 is seeking nominations for its Civil Society Regional Reference Group (CSRRG). This group will combat violence against women and girls (VAWG) and advance gender equality.
The CSRRG, comprised of up to 15 civil society experts and youth leaders, will provide advisory, advocacy, and accountability functions, guiding the SIARP 2 to ensure its effectiveness and accountability to women’s movements and youth networks.
The UN and EU are recruiting volunteers to advise on strategy, advocate for women’s rights and SRHR, and ensure accountability. Strong track record in gender equality, VAWG prevention, and youth-led advocacy is required. Fluency in ENG, SWA, FRE, ARA, ESP, or PT is desirable.
