Are you a young, passionate, and skilled individual committed to promoting good governance and accountability in Nigeria? The Young Leaders Network (YLN), with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), invites applications for its transformative GovWatch Budget Fellowship.
This program is meticulously designed to equip, empower, and engage fellows in a critical mission: to promote transparency and accountability through rigorous budget data harvesting, in-depth analysis, compelling visualization, and impactful reporting. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable skills and contribute directly to civic engagement and community development.
PROGRAM DURATION: 6 Months
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
• Age: Must be between 20-35 years old.
• Residency: Must be a resident of Bauchi Local Government Area (LGA).
• Availability: Must be fully available for the entire 6-month fellowship period.
• Interest/Background: Possess an interest or background in data, governance, or development-related fields.
• Skills: Demonstrate good computer skills and adaptability to new tools and methodologies.
• Commitment: Show a strong commitment to civic engagement, data-driven advocacy, and community development.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Curriculum Vitae (CV): A comprehensive CV not exceeding two (2) pages.
2. Motivation Essay: A concise essay of no more than 150 words, clearly articulating your motivation for joining the fellowship and how it aligns with your goals.
