Call for Applications: Country Liaison Officer – Youth Futures Research Project
Are you passionate about youth development and want to shape better futures for young people in Africa? Join us as a Country Liaison Officer for the Youth Futures Research Project in Ghana, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, or Uganda.
This project—led by CAP Youth Empowerment Institute in partnership with the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP)—is working to build evidence and policy recommendations that support meaningful work for African youth in the digital economy, entrepreneurship, trade, and gig work.
Your Role
As Country Liaison Officer, you’ll:
Connect with local stakeholders—government, private sector, youth groups
Support research and help organize local dialogues and policy events
Share insights to inform national and regional youth employment strategies
What We’re Looking For
Background in development, public policy, or youth work
Experience in partnerships or stakeholder engagement
Passionate about youth empowerment and future of work trends
Youth, women, and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.

– A short statement of interest (maximum 300 words) explaining relevant experience, networks, and suitability for the role
– A detailed budget proposal for the initial six-month period
