Call for Applications: Capacity Development Program for NGOs, CSOs, and CBOs in BAY States

The El-Kanemi Memorial Foundation (EMF), in partnership with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and the Borno State Agency for Coordination of Sustainable Development and Humanitarian Response (BACSDAHR), with support from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Plan International, is pleased to announce a Capacity Development Program (CDP) aimed at strengthening local organizations in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States.

This initiative seeks to empower Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) operating in the BAY states to improve internal systems, accountability, and program effectiveness in line with global best practices.

Program Objectives:
Participants will receive high-impact training and technical support in key areas, including:

  • Donor due diligence and compliance
  • Safeguarding policies and practices
  • Financial management and accountability
  • 5Ws reporting and data management
  • Resource mobilization and grant sourcing

Who Should Apply:
Eligible NGOs, CSOs, and CBOs operating in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States with a focus on humanitarian or development work.
