Business Development Executive (Fintech) at Worknigeria
Salary: N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
* Drive sales of payment gateway solutions to SMEs, large enterprises, and online merchants by identifying leads and closing high-value deals.
* Identify, onboard, and manage new merchants across various industry verticals, ensuring a smooth integration of payment solutions.
* Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for payment products, targeting- commerce platforms, retail chains, and digital service providers.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Collaborate with product and technical teams to provide merchant feedback, enhance payment features, and ensure seamless onboarding.
* Analyse market trends and competitor offerings to position our payment gateway competitively and refine sales tactics.
* Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs related to merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue growth.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and merchant outreach programs to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in degree in Social Science, Business, and Marketing
* 3-4 years of experience in Fintech, E-commerce, Retail, SaaS.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of consultative selling, pipeline management, and upselling/cross-selling.
* Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and analytics tools.
