Bridge Connect Africa Initiative: WAVES Project – Program Manager (Kano)
Bridge Connect Africa Initiative (BCAI) is seeking a Program Manager for the Women Against Violence Empowered through Sustainability (WAVES) project in Kano. This project uses a survivor-centered approach to address gender-based violence through economic empowerment, sustainable agriculture, and environmental stewardship.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Gender Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience in GBV program implementation.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-component GBV projects.
• Solid understanding of GBV case management, referral systems, and international standards.
• Proven ability to train and supervise teams and work in multicultural, community-based environments.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English & Hausa (written and spoken) is an added advantage.
