The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at UBC is designed to:
• Access & Thrive: Enable young people, particularly women, refugees, internally displaced people, and persons with disabilities, to access high-quality education with intentional and tailored wrap-around support.
• Community-Engaged Learning: Provide experiential education that enables students to apply their knowledge to address critical social and environmental issues through collaboration with diverse community partners. Deepen its existing network with partners in Africa to provide Mastercard Foundation Scholars with a meaningful transition into their careers.
