Arcadia Impact: Opportunity for Experienced Professionals to Transition into AI Governance

Arcadia Impact is seeking highly motivated individuals to apply for our AI Governance Taskforce as a Research Associate for the 12-week Autumn 2025 cohort. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your AI governance expertise and contribute to impactful policy research.
We are looking for up to 16 Research Associates to join small, high-calibre, multi-disciplinary research teams focused on frontier AI risk management. As a Research Associate, you will:
• Conduct research in small, collaborative teams.
• Deliver policy-relevant outputs to inform AI governance strategies.
• Gain invaluable AI governance knowledge and skills.
• Build your professional portfolio through impactful research projects.
This program is led by our Research Team Leader staff, with oversight from expert partners, including Aidan Homewood of the Centre for the Governance of AI’s (GovAI) Risk Management Team.
Program Details:
• Remote, worldwide participation.
• Part-time commitment (5-10 hours/week) for 12 weeks.
• Unpaid career development fellowship opportunity.
