In line with our mandate to strengthen youth inclusion and drive sustainable development, we are pleased to share an exciting opportunity for young changemakers across Africa:

Catalyst for Change – Youth Social Innovation Learning Program

Powered by One Family Foundation and supported by the Mastercard Foundation, this groundbreaking initiative is designed to empower the next generation of African social innovators and leaders.

Who Can Apply?

This program is open to youth (ages 18–35) from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, and Cameroon, including:

Aspiring social entrepreneurs

University students interested in innovation

Young women facing barriers to entrepreneurship

Youth living with disabilities or refugee/displaced persons seeking dignified livelihoods

Community leaders eager to expand their social impact

What Participants Will Gain:

Peer-to-peer learning sessions to build knowledge and confidence

Mentorship from at least two experienced social innovators

Access to a technology-enabled platform with tools and resources

Opportunities for cross-border learning exchanges

Direct connections with local organisations, government, and leaders

Why It Matters:

Every young innovator supported creates ripples of change—launching initiatives, creating jobs, and strengthening networks that uplift entire communities.
