The United Nations Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) provides assistance to women’s civil society leaders and their organisations at the local and grassroots levels in conflict and crisis situations across the globe.
WPHF mobilises, channels, and provides high-quality, flexible funding and capacity support to women peacebuilders, humanitarians, and human rights defenders who are at the forefront of WPS-HA challenges worldwide. By addressing their specific needs and elevating the knowledgeable voices of frontline women civil society leaders of all ages and backgrounds, WPHF seeks to break down the silos between the most urgent humanitarian, development, human rights, and peace and security issues facing the world and to maximise their added value in reaching the most marginalised communities.
