Application Form – Summer School “Women, Peace and Security”
Through a multidisciplinary approach, participants will explore the historical development of the WPS agenda, analyze the role of women in peace processes, and examine the challenges and opportunities in integrating gender perspectives into security strategies. The program focuses on global and regional security challenges, using case studies that illustrate how women have historically contributed to peace and stability. The main goal of the program is to empower future leaders in the field of security by equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to integrate gender perspectives into security policies and participate in decision-making processes.
All interested candidates are required to submit their application via the official online form no later than August 12, 2025. Please note that the number of available spots is limited. The organizers reserve the right to select the most qualified applicants based on the quality of their application and demonstrated interest in the subject matter.
Students from Western Balkan countries are especially encouraged to apply. Additionally, a limited number of places are reserved for international students from outside the region who show a strong academic or professional interest in gender, peacebuilding, and security studies. All participation costs – including travel, accommodation, meals, and tuition – will be fully covered by the organizers.
The working language of the Summer School will be English.
