Chinese Government Scholarship-High Level Postgraduate Program and Chinese Government Scholarship – Silk-Road Program are full scholarships established by Ministry of Education, P.R.C for universities to directly select and recruit outstanding young foreign students to study for postgraduate degree in China.
Ⅰ. Introduction
● Enrollment Quotas, Categories and deadline
1.Dalian University of Technology (DUT) is recruiting Master’s and PhD students for the Chinese Government Scholarship -High Level Postgraduate Program and Chinese Government Scholarship – Silk-Road Program for the year 2025. The duration of the scholarships study is three years for master’s students and four years for doctoral students.
2 The language of instruction is generally Chinese, with some programs are available in English.
3. Scholarships are granted for the duration of the study period determined at the time of admission, including specialized studies, and will not be extended in principle.
4. Scholarship recipients shall be managed in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Chinese Government Scholarship. Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change their institutions of admission; in principle, they are not allowed to change their majors and duration of study after coming to China.
● Qualifications
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
2. Education background and age limit:
– Applicants for master degree programs must received bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
– Applicants for doctor degree programs must received master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
3. Satisfy the appropriate language requirements for the speciality you are applying for.
● Scholarship Content
1. Exempt from tuition, free on-campus accommodation provided;
2. Monthly allowance is offered as followings:
* Master Degree Students: 3,000 CNY/month
* Doctor Degree Students: 3,500 CNY/month
3. Chinese Government Scholarship Comprehensive Medical Insurance provided.
4. International travel: self-sustained.
