The Adinkra Fellowship: Empowering Rising Black Changemakers
The Adinkra Alliance Institute is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the 2026 Adinkra Fellowship, a transformative leadership development program uniting brilliant minds across Africa and its global diaspora.
About the Fellowship:
We are seeking bold and innovative leaders aged 40 or under, from Africa or the African Diaspora, working across various sectors to create positive change.
Why Apply?
As an Adinkra Fellow, you will:
• Participate in two fully funded week-long trips (one in Africa, one in a Diaspora country).
• Receive a $1,500 travel stipend.
• Collaborate on impactful community projects.
• Have the opportunity to pitch for seed funding and support.
• Connect with global mentors and influential leaders.
• Become part of a lifelong alumni network.
• Inspire the next generation through the Adinkra University Tour.
Eligibility:
• Age 40 and under
• From Africa or the global African Diaspora (Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, Black Canadian, African American, etc.)
• Working in business, tech, arts, civil society, or public service
