Apply for Accelerate Africa Program (Cohort 3) – Funding
Accelerate Africa, a pre-seed/seed stage accelerator program, is currently accepting applications. It helps ambitious and visionary founders turn our shared challenges into international businesses by connecting them with clients, resources, advisors, and networks that will put them on track to make $1 million within 12 to 18 months of finishing.
Accelerate Africa runs several cohorts each year, supporting up to 10 startups over an 11-week period. They select startups from across the African continent to receive assistance in areas like storytelling, team development, go-to-market strategies, product development, and fundraising.
First – we will accept 10 founders who will receive support from 2 of the top founders and investors in Africa including Iyinoluwa Aboyeji and Mia von Koschitzky-Kimani who have built, advised, invested in and exited multiple successful businesses in Africa.
Second – Our program is designed to meet your needs as a founder in Africa, whether it be workshops across our 5 core areas, coaching sessions from our top advisors, or tech, legal, and finance clinics support through our clinics and office hours. Build community with other founders in fireside chats, join in person for welcome week and again for the final week where we prepare you ahead of the demo day
Finally, unlike most accelerators, We do not offer funding or take equity upon admittance. Our fund Future Africa may invest alongside our other incredible investor network, to write you a pre-seed or seed stage check of $250,000 – $500,000 after the program, following our standard investment process including due diligence and an IC vote. There will also be a standard deal offered by Accelerate Africa, with no requirement to take it
