Are you a passionate young person in Kaduna State eager to drive positive change in your community? Do you believe in the power of democracy, accountability, and youth-led transformation?
We are excited to announce the Call for Applications for the Kaduna Youth Democracy & Active Citizenship Fellowship (KYDAC Fellowship)—a fully virtual, one-month fellowship designed to empower young changemakers aged 18–30 with the knowledge, tools, and networks to lead democratic change and civic engagement in their communities.
About the Fellowship:
The KYDAC Fellowship aims to strengthen democratic systems and promote active citizenship among youth in Kaduna State. Through interactive virtual sessions, expert-led workshops, and peer learning, fellows will explore topics like governance, civic responsibility, advocacy, accountability, inclusion, and ethical leadership.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from: Youth aged 18–30 years residing in or originally from Kaduna State, Nigeria
Individuals passionate about democracy, good governance, civic participation, and community development
Those with access to a smartphone or computer and stable internet
Young people willing to commit fully to the 4-week online training program
Program Benefits

Fellowship Duration:
4 Weeks (One Month) | Fully Online
Start Date: 12th May, 2025
Session Days: 2–3 times a week (Evenings or Weekends)
