Employment Type: Contract (Temporary, Duration: 10 days)
Job Summary
- The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), organizers of the Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF), invites applications from passionate, diligent, and service-driven individuals to serve as Utility Personnel for Africa’s largest Trade Fair, holding at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.
- This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an international event that brings together global exhibitors, business leaders, policymakers, innovators, and thousands of visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support to both Exhibitors and Visitors at the deployed units during the Fair.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the seamless execution of the trade fair.
- Promote and demonstrate the business interests/objectives of the Trade Fair.
Areas of Deployment
Selected Utility Personnel will be assigned to different support units, including:
- Customer Experience Unit
- Technical Unit (Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Estate Surveying & related fields)
- Information Centre
- Security Unit
- Access Control (Various Gates)
- Halls (African Hall & others)
- TPB/Secretariat
- Accounts
- Production & Distribution of Passes
- Audit & Enforcement
- Welfare Services
- School Visit Coordination
- Exhibitors Service Center
- President’s Office
- ICT Unit
General Job Requirements
All applicants must demonstrate:

- Team work and flexibility to work during the trade fair’s operational hours and possibly on weekends.
Specific Requirements (by Unit):
- Customer Experience & Information Centre – Good communication, hospitality, conflict resolution, multilingual advantage is a plus.
- Technical Unit – BSc/HND/OND in Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Estate Management, or closely related field. Practical field experience is desirable.
- Security & Access Control – Experience in facility access, safety awareness, vigilance, and discipline.
- Accounts, Audit & Enforcement – Background in Accounting, Finance, or related field; numeracy and integrity essential.
- ICT Unit – Basic knowledge of IT support, troubleshooting, data management.
- Welfare & School Visit Coordination – Empathy, organizational ability, and strong people management skills.
- Secretariat, President’s Office, Exhibitors Service Center – Administrative competence, confidentiality, and high organizational skills.
