Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization with CAC in accordance to the Nigerian law, FRAD has over the years been actively involved with frontline responses to emergencies caused by the recent crisis in Northeast Nigeria, we also respond to emerging development needs in Nigeria through holistic approach that proffer durable solutions using the triple nexus approach. FRAD response focus on addressing the needs of women, girls, adolescents, youths and Persons living with disabilities via our various response in Health/Nutrition, Protection, WASH/Environment and Peace building, our responses provide support and enhance the protective factors of the most vulnerable populations affected by varying crisis which include humanitarian, development and economic crisis. Over the years, FRAD has demonstrated capacity in implementing a cross-sectorial response that meets the needs of the most vulnerable people and we are broadening our scope through the implementation of our 2024-2027 strategic plan.

  • Job Type: Contract
  • Qualification: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in public health related fields and/or social sciences.
  • Experience: 2 years’ experience in humanitarian response in the aspect of WASH/ Nutrition/GBV.
  • Location: Bama and Yobe,  Borno state.
  • Job Field: Programs

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Relate with stakeholders and beneficiaries at the field location
  • Actively participate in all FRAD project activities at the field location
  • Supervise activities of FRAD volunteers at field location
  • Support during trainings, meetings and other engagements as assigned by the project officers
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and all activity reports at the field location
  • Attend and actively participate in sector coordination meetings at the LGA level
  • And any other duty assigned by the project coordinator and FRAD management.

Experience and technical competencies

  • At least 2 years of practical field experience in nutrition, WASH and general protection in humanitarian and development contexts.
  • Ability to contribute to the development and operationalization of safeguarding frameworks, policies, and tools, ensuring survivor-centered and do-no-harm approaches in all project implementation activities.
  • Excellent skills in reporting, documentation, and communication, with a consistent track record of integrity, cultural sensitivity, and respect for diversity across complex humanitarian contexts.
