Appky to the Katsina Youth Climate Summit 2025

Youth in Katsina State with a strong commitment to environmental change are now invited to apply to become delegates for the upcoming Katsina Youth Climate Summit 2025. This gathering is seeking individuals who are ready to take meaningful steps toward shaping local and national conversations around sustainability and climate solutions. It is an open call for young people who are determined to drive real progress and influence environmental decisions from the ground up.

Organizers are in search of individuals aged 18 to 35 who either live in Katsina or are actively contributing to environmental or climate-related efforts in the region. Whether they are students, grassroots organizers, agricultural innovators, social media advocates, academic researchers, entrepreneurs, or activists, anyone dedicated to the values of environmental responsibility and climate justice is encouraged to step forward.

Delegates will gain far more than participation credentials. They will engage in practical training sessions, join expert-led discussions, and access tools that enhance their understanding of climate-related law, policy, advocacy, and innovation. They will also build connections with professionals from various sectors—ranging from NGOs and academia to government and the media—fostering new partnerships that can extend beyond the event. Participants will also be recognized with a formal certificate and could be highlighted as Youth Climate Ambassadors for the region.

The summit is scheduled for August 20–21, 2025, and will take place in Katsina State. Most of the sessions will be held in person, with limited online participation available. Applications must be submitted before August 15, 2025, through the official form found at the following link: https://bit.ly/KYCS-Delegates2025.

Selected delegates will gain access to a wide range of benefits designed to enhance their impact and leadership in climate action. They will participate in interactive workshops and expert-led sessions covering key areas such as environmental law, climate advocacy, green innovation, and policy influence. Delegates will also have the opportunity to network with fellow changemakers, NGOs, researchers, media professionals, and government representatives who are shaping Nigeria’s climate agenda. Beyond the summit, participants may join task forces, present climate solutions, and tap into future programs, funding opportunities, and collaborative projects. Each delegate will receive an official certificate of participation and may be recognized as a Youth Climate Ambassador for Katsina State, offering them additional visibility and credibility in the climate space.
